With a reduced team of three!! We managed to get the 2020 harvest done all in one day! We have had such a dry summer this year meaning the fruit was ripe earlier than usual , so we picked 2 weeks earlier in mid April.
We got 740 kgs of olives, and we got it all picked and to the press in the same day to make sure the fruit kept fresh. We had a good yield, and ended up with 145 litres of oil which was 95% Koroneiki, and 5 % J5.
We have spent the last 6 weeks racking the oil to remove the sediment, and now its ready for sale...Enjoy!!
