2025 Harvest of Our Block

In April 2025, we were thrilled to be harvesting from our own block once more after several years of insufficient fruit. The trees, which we had pruned heavily a few years prior, were laden with fruit. They were all Koroneiki variety trees, producing small yet flavorful olives.

Once more, volunteers dedicated around half a day to harvest 700 kg of fruit using our mechanical rakes, nets, and bins.
In the afternoon, it went to the press, and naturally, Greg at Salumeria Fontana pressed them immediately that night. We ended up with 84 liters of oil, which meant the yield was rather low, but this year, the oil turned out to be medium-bodied and very flavorful.
